Prior to founding California Healthcom Group, Mr. Henry Huang successfully helped develop wellness centers in Asia with fortune 500 companies CITIC Group, General Electric Healthcare, Siemens Healthcare, and Phillips Healthcare to bring state-of-the-art imaging centers offering a green approach to health screening.
Mr. Huang has always believed in the value of public service, and before entering the healthcare and technology industry, he served as a special aid to the United States Department of Labor, Region IX Representative and completed a fellowship in the United States Department of Treasury, Mint. Mr. Huang is current serving as the Commissioner of Information Systems in Los Angeles County.
Michael Cambron, PhD
President, Healthcom Management Group
Dr. Michael Cambron has spent the last 25+ years working with some of the most highly regarded healthcare consulting companies, physician practices and medical facilities in the United States. Throughout his career, Dr. Cambron has learned to skillfully drive the implementation and development of Physician Practices, Centers of Excellence, Hospital Operations & is a turnaround specialist; engaging physicians, hospitals, payors and vendors in a coordinated design that includes strategic, tactical and marketing programs.
Through 2012, Dr. Cambron is the VP Strategic and Business Development at UHS and Palmdale Regional Medical Center, 2008-2010 was a Senior Consultant for Neustrategy Inc and owner of two consulting and 1 research company, in 2008 he was a Vice President at SpineMark Corporation and in 2006 was brought in for a turnaround effort at Salus Surgical Group and Century City Doctors Hospital as the COO; moreover, in the preceding 12 years he was charged with the development of and administrative responsibility for the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and physician practice management at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Herzfeld brings a strong international finance background to the team. Prior to joining California Healthcom Group, Mr. Herzfeld gained venture capital experience in France and Switzerland working closely with startups to manage and accelerate growth. He also spent time as external consultant for IKEA Group in Sweden and has experience in portfolio management, implementing a wide variety of investment and hedging strategies.
Before finance, Mr. Herzfeld received four years of first-hand healthcare experience while working in the surgery department of a Los Angeles hospital. Mr. Herzfeld holds a MSc. in Sustainable Business from HEC Paris and speaks English, French, Spanish and Korean. In his spare time he enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding and anything that gets him outdoors.
Hua Liu, PhD
Executive Director, HAOEYOU
Prior to joining California Healthcom Group, Dr. Liu spent 2 years with Oracle Inc as a senior software engineer. Dr. Liu holds a B.S in Computer Science from Fudan University, M.S in Computer Science department of University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and a PhD from the Viterbi School Engineering at USC. She has published more than 10 conference papers and one chapters on game theoretic modeling and problem solving on wireless and mobile network optimizations. As part of her PhD research, she also worked with Nokia Research Labs on the mobile application mechanism design.
CTO, Technology Platforms
Prior to joining Healthcom, Mr. Yan has spent over 5 years as lead technology architect for a private healthcare enterprise that created medical diagnostics and cloud-based EMR platform. Mr. Yan holds a Masters in computer science from University of Southern California and a Masters in biology and neurosciences from University of Kentucky.
Mr. Creem has 30 years of management experience covering all aspects of the healthcare industry, including hospital and group practice management. He is a frequent speaker on topics ranging from IT strategic planning to organizational turnarounds and transformation. Most recently, Mr. Creem was the CEO for the Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Cancer Hospital where he led USC’s acquisition of the hospitals from Tenet and their transformation to a world-class medical center. Prior to USC, Mr. Creem was the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer for the UCLA Medical Sciences. He led significant turnarounds as CFO at UCLA, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Ms. Rogers is a leading businesswoman in the healthcare industry with more than 30 years’ experience in developing specialty centers of excellence in niche surgical fields like craniofacial surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, interventional pain and spine. For 17 years, she dedicated her life to helping children and adults with craniofacial deformities. She founded two 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in craniofacial surgery to create patient, medical and payer awareness of these conditions, which set up chapters in key US cities Ms. Rogers has also launched and successfully operated three national companies where she served as president and CEO. In 2008, Ms. Rogers received the Frost & Sullivan award on behalf of her work for Customer Value Enhancement in the field of orthopedic research.
